FUNNEL CAKE CITY VOLUNTEERS- We always sell Funnel cakes each day, before the Rodeo starts, so please get there as close to the target time as possible. If you can't stay a whole shift, we would appreciate any time you could volunteer - we are just glad for the help!
Thursday January 29 - Arrive at the Rodeo grounds to set up the tent & booth equipment. Usually 2hrs. Work clothes, sneakers.
Friday January 30 - Friday is pink T-shirt night - Tough Enough to Wear Pink, for Breast Cancer awareness. Any pink Will do.
Saturday January 31 - Saturday is yellow & black “club-color day”, and so we wear our yellow or gold SFTR club T-shirt !
Sunday February 1 - Sunday is a “be-comfortable day”. Wear a Trail Rider T-shirt of any color.
Wear safe clothes - A Trail Rider T-shirt and a pair of long pants, and closed sneakers/boots is the outfit of choice. (If you don’t have a SFTR shirt, contact Bonny George Jr. 305-431-1431 to buy one, or wear any shirt that doesn’t have a lot of writing on it.)
Community Service hours & a certificate are available for SFTR students who volunteer their time!
